The situation that landlords as well as probably tenants hate the most is being locked out of a property. It is definitely not fun getting locked out of your property. Good thing we can help you avoid locking yourself out with these tips to make sure it never happens ever again.
#1 We put a deadbolt lock

A deadbolt lock means that they have to turn the knob in order to actually lock the door. Deadbolt door locks are designed to be resistant to break-ins compared to traditional locks. They are also difficult to pick, but very easy to install. The doorknob sometimes would have a lock in itself that when you pull, might get removed.
#2 We install a passage doorknob

Usually, in a closet or another room that doesn’t have a lock, you use a passage doorknob. What that allows you to do is if you are going into a property and you are leaving it but you want to make sure that the door is locked.
If you don’t lock the door, the door just stays open. Think about it if a tenant leaves the house, forgets his keys, and closes the door behind them. The door will remain open, so no more lockouts ever again. This helps:
a. The landlord. It saves them money because they don’t have to worry about sending for a locksmith to open the door.
b. The tenant because of the convenience. They get aggravated about getting locked out and the time it takes to resolve it, so with this, they will never be locked out themselves.
c. The property manager because it minimizes property headaches and interruptions.
