3 Tools We Use For Efficiency

At Green Ocean Property Management, we are committed to ensuring safety and comfort in all our properties. In today’s article, read about how we take advantage of property management technology with the top three tools we use for efficiency.

We invest in only the best tools to diagnose and solve problems, such as the FLIR MR227 moisture meter, the Lasergrip 774 Infrared Thermometer, and the FLIR Infrared Camera E6. Check out how we use them.

FLIR MR227 Moisture Meter

We use this expensive yet essential tool to locate leaks in roofs, basements, and windows. Traditional methods for finding leaks can be expensive and invasive.

But with the FLIR MR277 moisture meter, we can easily detect moisture levels. We can even take pictures to show our property owners.

This device not only detects moisture. It also measures humidity, which helps us to locate leaks in the foundation. With this tool, we can quickly determine where leaks are coming from, eliminating the need for invasive and costly tests.

Lasergrip 774 Infrared Thermometer

City inspectors use this same tool to ensure the water temperature at our properties complies with the city of Boston’s housing and sanitary codes.

Residents often report that their hot water is either too cold or not hot enough. The city codes require that the water temperature is within a specific range to avoid scalding or burning residents. More importantly, it ensures they have access to hot water for showers.

We use this thermometer to check the water temperature accurately. If it’s not hot enough, we make the necessary adjustments in the hot water tank.

FLIR Infrared Camera E6

At Green Ocean Property Management, we use state-of-the-art technology to track and find leaks at properties. One of the tools we use is the FLIR E6 infrared camera.

This camera allows us to point at different areas of a property and detect temperature differences. It also helps us find drafty windows that can be sealed to save money on utilities and also locate leaks within walls.

With this camera, we can pinpoint the exact location of a leak by identifying a different temperature within the wall and looking for dripping water. This eliminates the need to tear down or open large wall sections to find the leak.

Our use of advanced tools like the FLIR E6 is just one of the ways we provide proactive and efficient property management for our clients.

Our commitment

If you or anyone else you know is looking for a proactive property manager that uses advanced technology to monitor and solve issues, such as the three tools we use for efficiency,  please think of Green Ocean Property Management: where you get more than a property manager, you get peace of mind.
