State Initiatives on Energy Efficiency
Massachusetts has been a consistent frontrunner in the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy’s annual report on states pushing forward clean energy.
In addition, gas and electricity service providers in Massachusetts have teamed up to form Mass Save. It is an energy efficiency initiative that aims to support residents and businesses in saving money and energy.
Mass Save also provides a wide range of energy efficiency services to assist people and organizations in managing their energy use and other associated expenses.
This includes giving away freebies or offering clean energy products at discounted prices.
Improving Properties with Mass Save Freebies
In support of the state’s clean energy initiatives, we are on an email chain for Mass Save. They let us know about any special offers, such as for thermostats.
They also provide instructions on registration and delivery details.
We were able to avail of this special offer for free thermostats for over 50 properties that we manage. After having them mailed to the properties, we took care of the installation at no additional cost as well.
At the end of the day, this is just an improvement. But who wouldn’t want to improve their property for free? This brings added value to the landlord and the property, even if it comes at no cost.
