From time to time, we deal with different problems as property managers. One example of which is mount marks from illegally installed satellites. In this article, you will get some ideas on how to remove satellite mount marks.

In all of our leases, we state that they’re not allowed to install satellites.

Why do we do that?

Because they have to be mounted somewhere. Now a lot of people will say, “Oh, well, I have to be able to do it,” What we will do is we will actually put something that we build specifically, that they can mount on that is not permanent and will not damage your property. Unfortunately in a case like this, if we take this out, you’re going to have holes in the actual property, which means that water can permeate through.

If water can permeate through means damage to your house.

How do we remove satellite mount marks?

We’ll take them out and seal it properly. We’re gonna fix shingles or put or silicone in it. Most importantly we’re going to talk to the tenants and make sure that they don’t do it again and we’re going to bill back those damages so that you the landlord don’t have to worry about that.

If you or anyone else you know, is looking for a proactive property manager that can help avoid issues such as this and most importantly fix them if they do occur, so please think of Green Ocean Property Management, you get more than a property manager, you get peace of mind.
