September 1 is Moving Day in Boston, Massachusetts. As this yearly tradition continues in the whole city, we, as a property management company, continue to be proactive by giving our clients’ renters a stress-free feeling before they move-in. One way to do it is by providing a pre-walkthrough.
Why is pre-walkthrough necessary?
Pre-walkthrough helps us avoid any issues that might come up on September 1, which is the busiest day of the year for most landlords and property managers. By doing this in advance, we can make sure that the renters understand and agree on any work that needs to be done before or after they move-in.
What happens during pre-walkthrough?
During a pre-walkthrough, we will meet with potential renters to discuss with them the condition of the property. That includes the need for repair or maintenance in any part of the property. Once the potential renters agree, we will continue with the lease and update them on the status of the repairs being done in and out of the property.
This helps us and incoming residents make sure that they feel comfortable with the process, and that we’re doing everything we can to make sure that they have a smooth move-in.
If you or anyone else you know, is looking for a property management company that is proactive, please think of Green Ocean Property Management where you get more than a property manager, you get peace of mind.
