In today’s article, we’re going to be talking about the best and easiest and most affordable ways to increase the curb appeal of your property.
Prospective renters or even your current renters come to the property and they feel like they’re at home and they want to pay more money and more rent to you which again at the end of the day it means more money in your pocket plus it just adds good value to your property. You want to be proud of the property that you own.
#1 We will do power wash and touch ups
We want to make sure that the front of the property looks fantastic, and the whole thing in general but what we’re going to make sure that we power wash it every single year, and when we touch up any type of paint that might be flaking, and this will also help extend life of things like wooden railings and even making sure we touch up any type of railings, stairways, anything that you can see as soon as you get to the property, that’s going to be our most important, easy way to be able to do it. And it’s easier to be able to maintain it over the course of years.
#2 We will organize the mailboxes
The second way is to have some really nice mailboxes, you see too many times with tenants that hand scribbled their names on their mailboxes and it just looks messy, so what we’ll do is we’ll make sure we have an organized section, that we do some professional mailbox names for them, and then when people come up, it looks organized and clean.
#3 We will make sure that you property is well-landscaped
We’re going to make sure that any type of landscaping that you have bushes or grass, or maintained, and we do that typically on a monthly basis, and if you want, we can add additional things like perennials and flowers and mulch that are above and beyond, it really does add that touch.
#4 We will make sure that the property has good lighting
During the day it might be fine but during the nighttime as it gets darker, you want to make sure that as soon as you walk up to that property, tenants feel safe, they feel like it’s bright, it’s lit up, and it can be easily seen.
#5 We will put good house numbers and paint the door
You could just put stickers on the property, and it will cost you a few cents, a nice metal raised number indicating the number of your property is only a few dollars more. Why not do that and make it look really, really nice.
Also, we’re going to make it pop, we want to do something such as maybe painting your door a different color than the rest, and it just makes it really feel unique. Again, those are my top ways to be able to increase the curb appeal in a cost effective way.
