Our branding makes us stand out among the rest—or at least identifies and distinguishes us from the next person. In today’s article, we explain how wearing our brand takes our identity to the next level and reminds us of our mission as your dedicated property manager.
The Importance of Wearing our Brand
So I don’t normally wear jackets inside. But when I do, it’s our branded jacket.
Now, why do I bring this up?
That’s because all my staff members–both the ones who work virtually as well as the ones in the field, especially the ones in the field–wear our clothing and branding. This is important, not just for landlords but for residents as well.
Here are three reasons why we put an emphasis on staff members wearing our brand.
1. Wearing our brand boosts confidence.
When a resident calls in with a concern or an issue, I want my staff members to be able to tell them that they are from the company confidently.
So we apply our branding on things like T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts–everything you can think of. We want to make sure that when our staff members go inside properties, your residents know they are working with our company.
2. It guarantees the safety of your residents.
You don’t want to have vendors and staff members going in and out of your property with residents not knowing who they are. Even if they try to show ID, you might think, “What if these people are just trying to scam our residents?”
So we had a layer of protection for your residents by having all staff members wear our brand, so they are easily recognizable.
3. Wearing our brand reminds staff members of our company’s mission.
The branded apparel reminds all my staff members that they are working for our company to give you peace of mind. When they work at Green Ocean Property Management, that means they should be taking care of your residents and making your properties a priority.
Most importantly, they should set the tone to be friendly and helpful.
Even when they are virtual, they have to wear our brand. Doing so is a gentle reminder to provide a higher level of service for you, our landlords and trustees.
Our commitment
If you or anyone else you know is looking for a proactive property manager that goes the extra steps and makes sure that every single one of their staff members—whether in the field or virtually—is branded and representing you, the landlord, to the best degree possible, please think of Green Ocean Property Management: where you get more than a property manager, you get peace of mind.
Understanding Tenant Move-in Fees
Landlords usually charge a specific rate when a tenant signs a new lease. The tenant move-in fees typically cover the costs of accommodating and processing new tenants, including touch-ups and minor changes such as changing directories and reprogramming security systems. Furthermore, one of the first steps to understanding tenant move-in fees is…

How We Do Water Mitigation
Nobody likes waterfloods. Unfortunately, if that happens, you don’t know which is more annoying: cleaning up and drying out everything that got wet or dealing with the insurance company to justify the work that needs to get done. Here, we talk all about those and how we do water mitigation at Green Ocean Property…
